Giving back to the communities we serve has always been important to our team, which is why we are proud to continue supporting Smilezone Foundation and the meaningful work they do for children and families.
This summer, the Goodale Miller Team once again participated as a hole sponsor at Smilezone Foundation’s 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament at Lionhead Golf Club. The event brought together more than 360 golfers and celebrity guests in support of the Foundation’s mission to create more welcoming and comforting spaces for children receiving care.
It was an incredibly successful day. This year’s tournament raised $300,000 after expenses, exceeding its fundraising goal and bringing the event’s cumulative total to more than $2.5 million since it began. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will help fund new Smilezones at Huron-Perth Centre, creating therapeutic spaces for children, youth and families receiving care and support.
Since its inception, Smilezone Foundation has transformed more than 500 spaces across all ten provinces, with each designed to make challenging days a little brighter for children and their families.
For us, supporting Smilezone is about contributing to work that makes a tangible difference. We are grateful to once again play a small part in an event that brings so many people together around a shared purpose and helps create more reasons for children and families to smile.
